Quayside
Distribution of Grimsby are the UK's leading full load
transporters of fish and seafood and they are reaping the
benefits after fitting tracking with temperature tagging to
their 70 strong fleet.......Quayside Distribution Ltd now control the
fleet with fully temperature controlled tracking units. Phil
England, Transport Manager, told Interactive "
We are extremely happy
with the system and have already noticed significant savings
on phone calls". This is just one of the many benefits
provided by
the system. Taylors Transport had a van stolen 12/10/06 and
within half an hour the police had pulled up the vehicle and
arrested the driver - thanks to the tracking device.... Taylors Transport MD Alan Taylor said 'this is the best
investment we have ever made for our business' . Alan was
able to tell police exactly where his van was after it was
stolen on 12/10/06. The van was recovered and back in the
yard within the hour. Another success story for vehicle
tracking!

Waste Management Ltd's MD Alan Boocock was delighted to
be able to supply the position of his stolen HGV to police
on 20/6/2006.... Frogsons were already pleased with the cost
savings enjoyed since their fleet management system was
installed in May 2006. However they were delighted when they
were able to give police the exact position of their HGV,
stolen to order on 20/06/06. Interactive Communications also
provided a grid reference so the police helicopter could
home in and apprehend the thieves who were about to break
up the vehicle for parts.
